Do I have to choose between iPod or Sirius?!

Hey guys, have a quick question. I'm going to install a Pioneer DEH-P780MP and I'd like to be able to hardwire my iPod AND a Sirius satellite radio (no FM Modulated). As far as I can tell, there is only 1-aux port on the back of all decks. Am I going to be able to have both the iPod and sat radio as options?

Thanks,
-r.

Not sure how it would work, but you could try a y-splitter rca cable into your inputs, allowing you to hook up both. But you'd have to make sure only one was in operation. Not sure how the deck would deal with two input signals on the same channel (one might override the other, or they may sneak in there together).

if the unit is Sirius ready, you can use both, the Sirius wire will plug right into your HU leaving the AUX in open for whatever you want, in the case your ipod. newer HU even have dedicated ipod inputs which will still leave you AUX open for anything.

i looked up your HU, there is also an ipod adapter Pioneer CD-iB100ii which will allow you to control the ipod with your HU. so 100% answer is yes you can use both
