In-Dash double-din navigation

I am looking into getting a double-din in-dash navigation system. One of my requirements for the system is that it be compatible with the NavTraffic service because I live in Atlanta and want to be able to avoid some of these traffic jams. The Pioneer AVIC-D2 seems to be the most probable unit for me, even though its biggest downfall IMO is the fact that it does not include a DVD player. The other major contender is the Kenwood P-NAV6019
DDX-6019 + KNA-G510 Multimedia Navigation Combo Package. I like that unit better as far as looks go, but the navigation software doesn't seem to be as comprehensive as Pioneer's. I wanted to know if anyone has any pros/cons regarding any of these units or any reccomendations for other units. Thanks

I know that the pioneers nav have bugs. I have had a avic n1 in a dodge of ours and the nav would do stupid things like take you 25 mile in a loop instead of going to take us of an exit for the same road that the loop takes you but it is only like 3 mile instead of 50. and the nav wouldn't reroute it would just say stuff to take you back to the original way . But mabey they fixed the d2 which is the same as the n1 and 2 but in a non flip out.

a stand alone gps is far better. garmin makes a phenominal one with their nuvi 350. the pioneer avic-n3 is a great choice over the n2. the downside to the nav system is that it loads off of a cd/dvd ad you cant listed to a cd while you're using the nav. all in dash dvd players will not let you watch a movie whil the car is in motion. they have a buit in g-sensor that will shut that portion off if it detects motion.

Gen1

Or if you really liked that pioneer model and want the dvd player with it, and still want to avoid the loading of the discs they have a new model with the 30 gb HDD for the GPS information, and for ripping cd's and what not.

It's a standard DBL Din look like a factory Nav unit, that's why I love it.

It's a little pricey, but I think it's worth it, Bout $2,250 at crutchfield.

Eclipse AVN5435 might be another option to look into.

Many dvd units do require than the car be parked to view dvd's, but there is usually something that can be done to override that.
