Cool $500 for an alarm, is it worth it?

hello all i am planning to get this alarm in my 06 corolla S

http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Pytho...oductDetail.do

it is the PYTHON881XP i also want the feature that turns on the defrost for the winter and the feature to put up and down all the windows.

is it worth buying this alarm at circuit city where they will install it for free?

also would i need extra parts for the windows or the defrost?

and does circuit city have these parts so they can install them?

any repplies are welcomed and thanks in advance.

not so knowledgable with this sorta thing but 500 seems like alot.. I would search the internet and see if you can find a better deal. Most things come with instructions of how to use the product anyways, so assembly should not really be that much of a problem. But if you want it done on the double and dont care much about the price them go there and get it done. They should know exactly what you would need

i have a viper system which is similar to this, and 500 is not too much to pay for it, including the installation. my only reccomendation would be to shop around a little. often these systems are sold in stereo shops. i think you might get better installation and service from an independent than from circuit city.....they are huge i know...and stand behind they're work , but often is installed by an incompetent....and even tho they'll fix it...it's a hassle. do not attempt to install a system such as this yourself unless you have alot of knowledge of all the circuits involved......btw...i love my viper system....

Don't think they are installing it for free. They are making alot above the price that it cost them.

so why wouldnt they install it for free if they are allready making a lot of money, plus anything over $99 at circuit city is usually free installation. i gotta stop by there but ive been busy working
