Gen 5 camry 02-05, How easy is it to swap out the headunit?

I'm considering the purchase of a Camry from generation 5 (2002-2006).

How easy is it to install an aftermarket head unit? Does it require any extensive work to the dash? Are there any walk-throughs here on this site or elsewhere?

Finally, any pics of your setup?

you just need a dash kit and wiring harness. you pull the heater control panel under the stereo and pry off the vent surround. from there you have full access to the stereo. remove the stereo. wire up your two harnesses. install the stereo into the dash kit, plug your harness to the car and the other end to the stereo, screw the kit and stereo into the car, snap the panel back on, install the heater controls and viola'.

good. sounds easy enough. I've done head unit installs on a few cars now (all easy jap car installs), so it sounds like a piece of cake. Thanks for the info!

I was actually considering a 2003+ Honda Accord, till I found that the stereo is not as easy (nearly impossible) to replace.
