Alpine IVA-W200

I have an '06 4Runner XSP that has the stock stereo system. The stereo sounds pretty good for a stock system and it's not the JBL system. I want to upgrade the head unit for now and later on upgrade the speakers witn an amp. I would like to upgrade the head unit to the Alpine IVA-W200 IVAW200 and was wondering if the stock speakers would sound good with this head unit. Money is tight for now since I just bought a house and just want to up grade the head unit for now.

Thanks for any help.

You're speakers will probably sound the same. Possibly, youmight gain a little improvement through extra processing capabilites or even slightly more internal amp power of the HU. On the flip side however, i believe it was posted on here not too long ago, stock speakers are matched "evenly" with their specific stock decks for the cars. Overally, I'd say you'd be fine swapping the decks, especially if you plan on upgrading later. Nothing wrong with "piecing" a system together, thats how I do mine.

You should be fine. I had an Alpine IVA-D300 in my Tacoma for a while with the stock speakers and it sounded good.

I think you should get an Eclipse TV because they are very simple to install. You don't even need new harnesses. They plug right into the factory harnesses and you can even keep your steering wheel controls!

Another thing, they offer more options when you are trying to adjust the sound.

The company that makes Eclipse radios also makes the Toyota factory radios.

Is it a flat touch/screen like the Alpine and can it control my Ipod?

Yes, it's flat and it's a touch screen.

It can control your iPod as well, with a seperate accessory.
