What to do with my system....

So right now for my low end I have a Diamond D6 and a Diamond D5600.2 for the amp.\

I got a mag from Elemental Designs and I saw this BMW trunk, I want to do the exact thing.



The only problem is I have 1 sub thas Dual 2 ohm and my amp will only support 600rms @ 4 ohms.

I need to get a new set of subs and a new amp unfortuantly.

My Diamond pounds, I wanted to get a second D6 but I need 2 Dual 4 ohms and a new amp then.

So im stuck, upgrading is going to cost a lot... I maybe was going to do dual CM3's but i dont want to be downgrading... so if yo were me, what would you do?

I think you should just duplicate 1/2 of it. It would still look cool.

The D6 can handle 600WRMS can't it?

If so just get one more amp and one more sub and you're good to go. Hook one sub up to each amp. You could buy things in steps so it wont kill your wallet

It would be the exact layout, but diff. equip. in places. Do one sub on the side and amps in the middle, then mount x-overs, d-blocks, etc... opposite the sub. Wouldn't have to buy any more products and would have the symmetry you're looking for (within reason of course)

Or you could do the reverse since you only have one sub.

Glass and Mount your amp rack in the corners of the trunk where that guy's subs are (one in each corner, obviously) and glass the spare tire well into a sub box. Mount excess hardware (d-blocks, x-overs, etc...) above the sub. I think that would look pretty sick actually!

if i were you, id just stick with the current setup and be content. if it already sounds good, why upgrade unless you were competing? my .02

esp if its gonna cost alot and you are short on funds, then again, that is a sweet setup =)
