help with tuning/equalizer...

um... ok i'm pretty noob to all those car audio stuff and i currently have this setup intalled:

elemental designs edi 6500s
2x elemental designs eu-700s
elemental designs nine.4
elemental designs nine.2
pioneer premier deh-p880prs

then thing is... i have no clue how to tune this headunit...

the past head units i've used were really simple to tune... they would have like a bass/treble/fade/balance setting and u just go up and down...
and some only had preset equalizer settings...

now this 880prs has like all this timing and frequency and slope and high/low pass etc stuff... and i'm not sure how to tune it properly to make it sound good so i'm just currently using one of the preset equalier modes (vocal)... i can't seem to figure out how i should set the custom equalizer and those tuning options... are there like guides or you guys have any tips how do set this thing up better?

If i'm not mistaken I don't think you have to even worry about the highpass/lowpass on the headunit if your using amplifiers for everything... ED amplifiers have x-overs built in which you definetly need to set.

You should head over to the ED Forums and check out how to tune your amplifiers and there is also a really good gain tutorial over there. I would leave the HU to control only the volume.

EU-700's rock =D

I've got 2 - 19OV.2's powered by a nine1

and im getting 2 - nine2's for interior and 2 eu-700's

Have you listened to the 6500's yet? How do they sound? I want to get a set eventually.
