Question Sparks...and now radio doesn't play

I installed the Navone N-85V to hook up my amp to the OEM HU. When I spliced the RC (?) — the blue power wire for the amp into the blue wire for the HU, it didn't work with the amp...then I thought maybe it's the thick blue/yellow wire. When I spliced into that, I left it exposed to see if that would work. Well the back of the HU touched the exposed wire and now the HU won't play at all. It won't turn on...nothing...

Is it just a fuse? Did I fry the HU? I swear I saw a tiny spark but it may have just been me. Either way, the thing won't play now.

Any thoughts? Thanks!

...BTW, I want to avoid buying a new HU.

And for what it's worth, 00' Solara — same HU as Camry I believe (single CD/casset player)

Sounds like it could be the fuse, check that before you do anything else.
