Question Ignitions off...amp & subs stay on???

So I got around my N-85V issue. The subs sound great (with some minor adjusting here and there) but I can't figure out why the amp and subs stay on when the ignition is turned off.

I turn the car off and the subs start playing loud consistent base. Just base...

any thoughts?

Sound slike you amde things tougher than needed, but I'm not familiar with Solara's wiring and how different it is from a normal cam's. Shoulda just gotten a line out converter and a compatible amp. But regardless. If you car is off and your amp is still on, you probably didn't wire the remote turn on/off right. Check all your wiring to make sure things are secure, especially teh ground (to avoid alt. whine and the like).

Do you suppose it's because the amps remote wire is connected to the thick blue/yellow wire instead of the thin blue wire?

Ummm...I have no idea. My acc. wire (turn on/off) was blue i think. I even think my car's wires had their uses written on them from the factory. http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/t15196.html
