OEM Bose Nav unit - identification help?

I just picked this Bose navi/TV unit up on ebay, but I really need to identify what it's out of so I can get info on the pinouts and get a harness, and hopefully the navigation CD. The seller didn't know, as he bought it not knowing, and gave up on the project. I consider myself to be pretty savvy at finding info on the web, but I couldn't i.d. this unit for anything. Can anyone help on this?
I've looked on ebay and autotrader for any vehicles that have Bose navigation units, but none of them look like this one. I suspect it's an older one, because it has the cassette. The guy did say it was a JDM, so it may not have even been used in the US market.

Anyone know how or where I could get info on this unit? I e-mailed Bose, but they were less than helpful and offered no assistance at all.

BTW: the Hello Kitty pics are NOT mine... they're my wife's.
