Bypassing crossover ON alpine HU

I need some help on my CDA 9835. How do you defeat the crossover function? I tried using the defeat mode but it only defeats MX mode and EQ's....so if i wanted to run an external active x over, i don't want to have my HU crossover match with the external device

I don't know the answer to that myself, but just incase I would suggest you also check a few dedicated car audio forums and you could also give tech support a shot as well.

If it is like my old alpine, the crossover had adjustable slopes. Set the slope to pass, and it defeated the crossover.
