95 camry alarm...

I have a 95 camry, and of course it has the pre installed alarm from toyota.i noticed the alarm control box is underneath the drivers seat. Now if someone were to break in, setting the alarm off, then cut the wires from this box would that stop the alarm?

Just wanting to know, cause i have stuff in my car that i dont want stolen(car audio), and if someone knows about this a 5 second job can make it seem like they disarmed the alarm, taking suspicion away.

I don't think those normally go under the seat? Sounds weird to me... I would get a new system installed and have the shop rip the stock one out. Of course I don't know much about how that works and if tearing the old one out will cause problems...

Best bet, just have a new alarm (Viper, Python DEI all the same stuff) put in. Its money but in the end you win. The guy who did mine I don't even know where he put it, probably in my dash hidden somewhere. I never bothered to ask or even look for it. lol.

I would recommend one of those 2-way pager type of alarms, my friend has one and not only is it cool but it has some really great features.
