Question double bridge

is it possible to double bridge a multi-channel amp to one sub, ive tried it before and threw the amp into protection mode, im just wondering if its possible or if im just doing it wrong

depends on the amp, some are stable in 2ch some arent.

im running a clarion pro audio 400 watt APA-450, bridgeable 4/3/2 channel, 2 ohm stereo. as for the RCA hookups, can i just run a spliter to get all 4 channels, or do you think it has to be separate?

I think he is aking about bridging two channels and then bridging them into one. If so, then no you can't.
