What should I use to seal the doors back up after pulling the OE plastic off? Where do i get the black gooey stuff? I pulled it all off to paint the car, and need to put the plastic back. I figured you audio guy woudl know. Thanks!

Might be a little expensive, and I don't know what your plans are for the car, but sound deadening material (Raammat, Dynamat, eDead, etc...) would be a good way to seal the doors, and also make the car quieter, but it would also add some weight, so it like I said, it depends on your plans for the car.

I know about that stuff. Sound deadner is not what I'm lookign for. I'm jsut looking to put the stock style plastic sheeting over the door again. Mainly to cut down on some wind noise, but more importantly to creat a vapor barrier between the interior and the rear door window seals that leak. As of right now, water runs down the inside of the door when it rains and ends up soaking my carpet.

Do you think one of the mods could possibly move this to the general Camry Thread if I can't get answers here?

Go to the window glazing section and get the black sticky EPDM seal material.

It is like $5 for a 25 foot roll at home depot.
