I have a similar one for my kenwood. I hid mine along the right lower side. Near the bottom of the main consol holding the H/U.

I have it sitting along the edge, under the carpet then I have the wire running along the side through the plastic until it got to the side of the passenger seat where I have it running straight up, with a little slack so I can hide it and use it.

I'll take a picture if needed, but mine is a gen 4.5 so idk if it will help. But you should be able to do the same sort of thing regardless.

Yeah I would just put it in the center console. Or you could put it in the glovebox. I did that w/ the Sat radio for my Pioneer head unit. I was worried about it being in the center console.

I have one. I ran the wires from the deck into the glove box and just keep that and the ipod locked up in there. Check out my cardomain page to see the pics!

ok...i installed the adapter today and decided to put it in the glove compartment. Now the question would be...can i lay the adapter on top of the owners manual and registration...i dont know if the adapter heats up at all and would cause any kind of fire hazard>?????thnx for the replies

Just take everything out of the glove compartment first and vel-cro it to the bottom using the strips they provide for you and then just throw everything back on top of it. It doesn't heat up. Nothing to worry about.
