Gen5 Upgraded Alternator

Well since nobody makes a H/O alternator for the gen 5 camry i am going to get mine beefed up from an 80 amp to a 110 amp. Hopefully this well help my problem with dimming lights. I also plan on doing the big 3 upgrade as well as a new battery afterwards. Should i definitley change the wire from the alternator to the battery to a higher gauge like 4awg? And should i fuse it as well?

Do yourself a favor and do the Big 3 before you get the new alt/rewound alt. That might help with your dimming problem, and you may not even need to worry about the alt's seeming lack of power.
