02 XLE - NO sound from audio - help

My saturday has started off bad

The 02 XLE i got 3 weeks ago (certified used), today I played my CD and there is NO sound. from the speakers... . The audio is the JBL premium audio with single Disc

No sound in radio, no sound in tape. The head unit display and controls are working fine. Just NO sound...

Since I am still with in the 3 mo / 3000 mile comprehensive warranty for the certified used, I went to the dealer (not the one I bought the car from), they have asked me to come monday!

Is there a mute button somewhere? Or is the amp gone bad. Any one had such issues?

Going to the dealer monday morning to have it looked at under the 3000 mile comprehensive certified used warranty. Any ideas how to ensure that they indeed put JBL amp in the event that they find the problem with the amp. I mean I don't want them putting the stock non-jbl amp (if there is one like that)...

Thx

Well all of a sudden the audio now works with sound Looks like the JBL amp when nuts when it was cold in the morning.

I wish it did not work, that way at least I could have taken it to the dealer and showed the problem!!.
