Sub/Amp setup for 98 camry

Hey guys, I'm just looking to add some bass/bump to my current sound setup. I was thinking maybe 1 10'' jl audio w3 and amp I dont know yet. I will soon be getting a decent headunit from a friend and installing that, but I would like a bit more. Here are some specifics:
-I want it for hip-hop, rap, techno
-I would like it to run up to maybe 300-400 dollars (if this isnt feasible let me know and I will see what I can do)
-I currently have only a stock setup without the headunit that I should be installing very soon. I believe I have the upgraded sound system but Im not 100% sure as of this time. But either way I will be bypassing the factory amp
-I will be willing to build my own fiberglass sub box if necessary

Mounting positions? drivers side in the truck? passenger? mid?

Please let me know what you think and where my problems lie
