SC400 has a stock of 8-10" sub in the rear deck depending on what year. Seeing how I need bass but dont want more weight, I think ill continue the IB setup.
Looking for NICE 10" IB subs, that can handle 600rms
Technically you can run any sub you want IB however power handling will be diminished substantially with most. I did an IB install in an SC400 (don't remember what year it was) and the gas tank was right under the rear deck limiting the sub choice due to depth issues. Also the factory sub was about 9" I believe and the not-so-flat rear deck required a baffle shaped to the contours of the surface.
