87 cressida, Head unit install trouble

okay so i have a nice headunit i wann throw in my beater of a cressida, however the wiring to the stock radio is way different than any car ive ever installed a stereo in...

first i connected the yellow and red wire, then grounded it.... um no power... why am i not getting power? where do i connect the blue wire? how do i know which wires are for the speaker? this oldschool color scheme is wack does anyone know where i can find a wire diagram?

as u can see the red and yellow and im holding the black ground.... there are two more white wires from where the "red yellow black" wires connected any idea what those are for?

Use an aftermarket wiring harness. They're only like $7 at Walmart or Bestbuy....all the wires are color coded with no cutting into the factory harness, just plug and play. You can easily plug the stock unit back in when you sell the car.

i figured it out with a little help from my volt meter, since when are brown green and white ground and power?

one is always on.... and one is on when car's at acc posistion.... if you get them switched during the install.. the HU will work fine cep when you turn off the car and back on it'll forget all the radio stations/settings... and you'll just have to switch the 2 wires....

if you need help finding which speakers are which wires just reply and i'll tell you how
