Should i get a capacitor?

i am able to get a second-hand capacitor for a good price. i have a stock-like battery, 1000W Kenwood amp, and 2 12" pioneer subs. the only reason i'm thinking of it is because its cheap, but is it worth it?

also the other day my brother in law was driving the car around and he wasn't playing the stereo (cause i kept the face plate), but when later when i was driving with the stereo on i reckon the bass form the subs has dropped off, where previously you could feel it, now you can hear the vibrations. what could have caused this? i checked the settings and connections and they were fine, so what might have happened?

its called getting used to it......:p

on a more serious note tho....a cap will not make your system any louder.....all that a capacitor can really do is make the quality of your music better by making the bass more accurate, cuz there'll be MORE, and CLOSER power to your amp when it needs it.

if you want louder, upgrade
