7" lcd in place of oem player

whats up guys im a noob. i just want to know if this is a good idea. i was thinking of taking the stock cd player and placing a 7'' lcd screen. then relocate the dvd player in my glove box or arm rest storage. how should i mount it in place and make it look like those navigation systems on the new camry( drools) and lexus. oh if theres a thread similiar to this my bad. thanks everyone.

Youd probably have to get creative with fiberglass like I did with my 94 camry

Thats a great idea too. Much less work to do. You probably will have to pay for it but it shouldnt be that much, im sure there are some on ebay or something floating around too.

Cerry do you have rhe finished product pics??i was thinking about doing this to my 93 camry.but i dont like the glove box head unit or arm rest wouldnt work unless you bought one that can mount sideways.not a big fan of any of that,but the stock monitor look is 100 times better than the flip out units.

Didnt get to finish becuase @ the 1 year mark the screen died on me. New one is well on its way so maybe by beginning of jan.
