Trash it or no?

Hey well I couldn't resist a deal on blackfriday at bestbuy and I bougth the Dual dual 12'' subs and amp combo for $140.

The subs were 140 and the amp came along for free. Now upon further inspection they did a great job of giving me subs that have a 600w rms according to the site and an amp that does 100W RMS (continuous) @ 4 ohms.

Now this amp is two channel, so I believe that would prohibit me using it for my four speakers?

Here is the current situations if my last assumption was correct:
1) Save the amp and try to sell it or something and instead buy a different amp to power the subs
2) Try to return or resell the whole thing, (the subs are cheap and possibly not worth it?). Instead put the rest of the money towards either new speakers or a single, more high quality sub

#2 is the best option by far...

Dual = low quality crap

You gave a great indicator of why given that that amp is "rated" at 580 watts when it really only puts around 290, which may also be off in itself.

Do the right thing and see if you can send those back. It wouldnt even be worth $100 dollars in my opinion. More of something to just blow up for fun, if you just had them laying around, IMO.

You could definalty do better given you saved a bit more then $140. You don't need much but you need a little.
