Starting To Look at New Sub Stage....

So im going to be coming into some money in january. So i decided or am deciding to put into into the worst part of my camry, the sub stage. Right now its 2 RF P1s powered by a directed xtreem 2600. Total Crap.
Im thinking that im going to keep the box, which is about 2.4cF which seems like alot, but hey ill take it. Perhaps recover it or soemthing.
Im looking for recommendations on a new amp and 2 new 10s, do I need to consider 12s?
the current setup is as follows

Laptop>Creative Extigy>DCX 730
Running, a monitor 2.70 to LPG 26's and a next 4.400(i think) to 2 alpine type r mids up fron. No Rear stage.

My budget is around 500, id love to go as low as possible The only place that ive reallly been looking is Ed,their stuff has always interested me and im really looking into trying something of theis, but i think my box is huge for what they say. The new SQ10 looks sexy as hell, but its not right for my application I believe.
So thoughts?
Cheers

Image Dynamic subs would work well for that box. Just the ID models. Only in a 12" though.

I believe the 10" is about .6cf for each. As far as I know there arent alot of 10" subs that need that much space, even the one you were using it with. Unless it's ported. If its not your p1's are only designed for .65cf

So what exactly are you looking to replace anyways? I didnt quite understand all that you were changing?

SO is the box 2.4cf on each side. Or in total with it split by wood into two sides? Or just one big open box for both subs?
