neon light install quick question

i want to put a 15 inch red neon light between the rear 6x9 speakers
can i wire it into the brake light or some nearby source? or do i have to run it to somewhere near the dash to get a 12 volt signal?

or should i just not install it at all. ricey? waste of time? i had it under the dash, to illuminate the footwells, but took it out.

I surely wouldn't insall it, cuz once its on back there you would really be able to see out the back glass too well at night. However if you do really wanna do it you can wire it in to the park lights, or if you want it on a switch, wire it from a 12v source in the front.

I Put It In The Trunk To Replace The Trunk Light
Easy, Two Wires, Make Sure U Disconnect The Negative Battery Terminal First Or Take Out The Mini 20a Fuse From Under The Hood
