Complete stereo upgrade

Hey guys whatsup. Ive got a 99 SLE with the JBL setup. Ive already put in an Alpine CDA-9857 h/u and Ive got 2 12" JL Audio W3V2's waiting to be put in. I dont have a sub box or amp for the subs and Ive been thinkin of gettin a JL Audio box from a dealer and then getting an Elemental Designs Nine.2x amplifier for the subs. I was also gonna put in RAAMmat to keep everything from rattling. Do you guys have any better suggestions? Also I am looking into getting a set of component speakers and amp for the interior, any suggestions for that?

I changed over my stock speakers with kenwoods. Nothing special but much nicer. Someday I'll wire them with an amp. Never heard much about JL but nothing bad either so thats good. You'll have a fun time with the rattling. It's taken me a year to get everything not to rattle. You'll notice the bumper, license plate, gas tank door, and a few minor things rattle a lot. Alpine h/u is good, thats what I have and I love it. My sub box was fully essembled so didn't have to deal with that stuff. My total system, 4 speakers, 2 subs w/box, amp, wiring cost ~$750. I'd say most brand name items are good no matter what people say. Just take your time with it, keep it neat, and don't hack it together. If you want some pics PM me your e-mail and I'll show you how mine looks. Good luck with the install.
