Stereo install questions

I'm putting a new stereo in my 94 ES300 and have some basic questions:

1) I checked the resistance of the speakers (using factory service manual wiring diagram) and the rears come in at 4 ohm, as I expect. The fronts measure 2 Mega-ohm. What is going on there???

2) The new stereo has a blue wire for the power antenna. The wiring diagram for the car shows the OEM connector has 2 wires to the antenna, one labelled "To antenna" and one labelled "From antenna". What does the power antenna wire do? Put out 12V when the radio is on?

3) The new stereo has an "Illumination" wire. Same question here, what kind of signal does this take to adjust the illumination level? 12V? Ground? something else?

Thanks!

1)Is there seperate tweeters for the front? If so maybe they're wired up in series and that's y its showing 2 ohms.

2) I know the gen3 Camry's have 2 wires for the power antenna. One is constant and I think the next one is to turn it on and off.

3)If I'm not mistaken its 12v it uses since the dimmer switch varies the voltage supplied between the 12v and ground. I guess maybe the illumination wire only needs to go to the 12v side of the dimmer switch.

Someone feel free to jump in cuz my memory isn't too good

dna59,
Thanks for the input. The front does have tweeters in parallel, but I don't get 2 ohm, I get something like 2 MEGA-Ohm. They aren't the same and they aren't constant, so obviously my DVM is charging or discharging a capacitor or something...
