amp probs

I was driving home tonight and all of a sudden my sub went off. When I got home and checked it out i saw that the wires going into the amp were pulled out. My sub somehow moved all the way opossite of where it usually is. Now i tried putting the wires back in thier regular postitions and it wont turn on. When i turn on the car stero the light on the amp only goes red and then turns off. And none of the other lights on the amp turn on. The amp was not hot and there was no burning smell. What happend and how do i fix it?

uh yeah one other thing the ground and power wires touched...........please tell me it can still work.

that should have just blown fuses. check the fuse at the battery and the amps internal fuses.

Sometimes my remote turn on wire used to touch the power wire and the amp would be on even though the car and stereo were off... just a random comment. It never blew any fuses or anything or caused any damage though.

okay i checked the fuses and none of them are blown. Now what?

Well I got some amps and subs for sale, how about an upgrade from that Jensen stuff?

well i am not really looking for an upgrade because i have only had this stuff for 5 months. and i would like to get the amp working again.

back to walmart it is then... or wherever you bought the jensen stuff.. they should service it or repair/replace it if anything is toast.
