is there a thread or anyone with a how to remove the rear panel guide. so i can have access to the 6x9's for the gen 5's. there was one thread in the "important thread/wesbites" but it was an install for the gen 4's which included the removal of the rear seat and side head panels. i really need to replace the 6x9s. thank you.

It's the same procedure. Take out the back of t he back seat, take out those panels, detach the rear deck from underneath. Pull out the rear deck out of the car...you may have to bend it slightly. You'll have to unscrew the speakers from the top.

But before you replace your back speakers, have you changed out your front speakers yet? I don't even use back speakers...Maybe you can save time and money(and have better sound quality) by just doing the fronts and not using the rear.
