Hey guys i recently did a custom install in the back in my 91 Camry, 2 6 1/2 Pioneer with 2 6 1/2 Infinity's connected to the Pioneers to receive sound. When I put on the music, the music is flat except for the front 2 original 3" speakers that are jus banging..weird, the speakers are wired properly and u see them bump buh u just dont hear the bass, anyone know what might be wrong?
When i come out of the car tho all i hear is prrr prrr threw the back glass like its gonna shatter. any advice plz
you didnt say if you had an amp or not, but if you dont, you're going to fry your headunit and its definatly not going to work right. youve either got a 2ohm load or an 8ohm load. 2ohm and youll break something, 8ohm and your not going to have enough power. If its on the headunit, you also only have about 15-25wrms to work with, not nearly enough to do anything impressive.
If you do have an amp, chances are you're crossovers are adjusted wrong.

just to let u know, most aftermarket speakers were not meant to produce the kind of bass the factory style speakers produced. They produce clearer highs and mids, while giving some lows. They expect you to buy subwoofers if you wanted the lows.
Otherwise you would have to go to the component setup route.
crap i think it has an 8ohm load cuz the deck starts to flash when i play it past half, i think ill jus get an amp for my subs=) anyone know where i could get a 3000watt amp for cheap?
no i have a 1200watt RMS(2400watt) Lanzar, and a 700watt RMS Pyle, they really bump in my room the whole house vibrates buh its not in the car as yet looking for an amp and im in Canada unlike the states they have car audio all over almost every other block.Futureshop and Bestbuy way 2 expensive soo ill go wid some nice cheap and decent.
ok...you go ahead and try to push 3000 watts into those POS speakers and see how long they last. Pyle has always sucked, lanzars a little bit better, but not by much, anymore anyways, they used to make nice stuff.
also mismatching speakers isnt sucha great idea anyways.
Also - 1200+700 =1900.... where did you get a need for 3000watt for in the first place? Not that either one of those speakers will actually handle that much power for any length of time.
