Exclamation Rattling

I have a Kicker Comp VR in the back and when it hits hard my 6X9's rattle a LOT. It really gets annoying. I was wondering is there anything I can do? I have aftermarket Pioneer 6X9's. They were customed installed by me. Hehe. Any have the same problem or any solutions?

I had the same problem, what u need to do is put a lot of dynomat or some other form of shound deadening stuff all over the top and bottom of the rear deck. that helped me a lot.

Try weatherstripping.

Unscrew the speakers, put weatherstripping around the hole, and reinstall the speakers.

Worked on my friends gen 3.

You can get a big roll of it at Home Depot for a few bucks.

weatherstripping is pretty much the dsame as dynomat, just not as flexible, but it still does the job...

Are you sure it's not your speaker that is rattling!

Just put it wherever things are rattling put it around your speakers. i find that the 3rd brake light rattles a lot so i put a ton there and then just put the rest of it anywhere u want. Iw would sugest putting it behind the center pannel on the trunk cause that piece rattle like hell for me.

I turned off my sub woofer and turned my music hella loud and it didn't rattle. Then i turned on my sub and when it hit, it rattled a lot. It was the metal piece, that the 6X9's rest on, which rattles. I really don't know what's loose or what. I think i might go buy some of that weather strip stuff and put it in there and see if it works.
