Tint and Radio Reception

I have had my new tint a matelic semi installed (by me) and never realized the loss in reception of the radio untill to day when i went to listen to it.

I have a inside amplified anttenna over top of my rear veiw mirror and ever since i had i have got okay reception but do you guys think it is due to the tint. and the power anttenna doesnt work that is why i got the inside one.

what are some suggestions to do to get back reception with miniamal money. other then use the power stock antenna and take off tint.

only thing i can think of is to get your exterior antenna working again.. if you have poor reception by your rear view mirror, everywhere else inside the cabin will get the same result
