Upgrade from Basic Stereo - Toyota Nation Forum : Toyota Car and Truck Forums

I have an '07 4Runner that came with the basic stereo (single CD/MP3 & 6 speakers). The sound is fair at best.
The dealer says they can only 'add-on' their 6-CD changer.

Does anyone know of a way I could upgrade to a better 4 Runner Toyota stereo, possibly the JBL stereo?

There are an unlimited amount of options out there for upgrading the sound system in your 4Runner, you are only limited by your budget. That said, I would recommend you check out Crutchfield to find out what fits your application.

Thanks for that input. I have looked at the Crutchfield site, and plan to see what's avail. I have a catalog coming.
