Saflex side windows for sound deadening: any experience?

Laminated side glass made with Saflex protective interlayer can reduce wind and road noise by up to 6 db as compared to tempered glass, while providing a 10% weight savings versus the same thickness of tempered glass. A 4.0mm overall thickness laminate is quieter than a 5.0mm tempered piece of glass. This 6 dB is achieved between 1000-7000 Hz, which is where the human ear is the most sensitive to wind and road noise. This reduction equates to an Articulation Index (AI) improvement of up to 10%.

Could I actually get this installed in my gen 3.5 camry?

you would have to get each peice custom made... that would be incredibly expensive, and probably wouldnt be the results you are expecting.

Id spend a couple hundred bucks and sound deaden every panel in your car, not going to be weight saving, but would definatly make an impact.

Yeah, it won't make much difference since most of your noise is coming from other sources besides through the window itself.
