Ipod connector

I have a 1998 Toyota Avalon XLS and I have the Monster Cable Ipod connector, but it sounds raspy at the high volumes I enjoy listening to music. My question is what is the best Ipod connector I can buy? I know CD quality is best, but I have 2000 songs on my ipod and I listen to atleast half so burning CD's isnt going to work. Thanks!

It plugs into the cigarette lighter outlet its not wirelss it is a couple years old. It does not have an LCD display and has a red button where you can choose like 10 different set stations. I do not know the exact model though. How is that new wireless Griffin one? Or is there any other one you would reccommend?

Did you read the reviews on those things. They are horrible anything that plugs into a car lighter then plays via the car radio can not sound to hot. It reminds me of the old drive inn movies, were you tune in your car radio to listen to the movie.
But on to some useful input, one of the best ways to go with the ipod connection to a stock HU is Peripheral. I had one install recently to my 30 gig and its nice. Shop around you can get them for around 100 bucks or maybe cheaper.
