subwoofer ohm trouble

im having some trouble trying to figure out my friends optimum sub impedence. he has a 2 channel amp and 3 subs. one is dvc with 2 ohm coils, the other is dvc with 4 ohms coils, and the last one is svc 4 ohm sub.

right now its wired with the 2 ohms sub wired as 1 ohm and the other dvc as 8 ohm giving it 4 ohms. and the other subs is on the other channel as 4 ohm.

i want the 8 ohm sub to be getting some more power bc the 1 ohm sub is hogging that channel. is there another way to hook this up?

if i wire the 2 ohm sub as 4 ohms and the 4 ohm sub as 2, how many ohms will that be together? will it be 3 or will it be 1.5?

You can't use different subs with the same amp. Pick one that works with your amp, either the dual voice coil 2 ohm sub or the single voice coil 4 ohm sub. Bridge the amp channels to power that one sub.

List the brand/model of these two subs so we can see which one is better.

Also if you have a digital multimeter, check to make sure they are all showing the right ohm and not 0 so you aren't running a blown sub.
