re-installation of my system

ok this is going to be a long post so hopefully you will all be willing to read:

i had in my old cam an eclipse dvd unit, diamond audio 6.5" components amped by an eclipse 4 ch, and an older RF sub powered by an xtant amp. got my 05 cam SEabout 6 monhts ago and havent touched it audio wise b/c i had no time, plus the JBL didnt sound all that bad.. now that spring break is coming up, i might have some time to reinstall all my stuff, but im not sure if i want to install everything just yet. bc i go to school in harlem, i might want to keep my stock radio on there and just install my sub. question is, how do i do this? i searched the forums already and i know about LOC's but will that work for my sub and amp combo? i would still have to run my power and remote wire and use the LOC to get RCA connects, right? also, if/when i decide to install my 6.5" components, im not sure where i want to place my tweeters.. i would preferably like to use the stock dash locations but will mounting be an issue? i dont want to cut into my door panels or a pillars on this car and i know qlogic doesnt make q forms for the newer gen cam's. basically im trying to look at all my options and see what is best for me..

im not sure about your 6.5 but using the LOC will work perfect.we did that in our 07 cam. ran a pwr cable from the battery. hooked the LOC to the rear speakers.. and for the remote we just taped into the fuse for something that will turn on when u turn the key. Works well. plus with the rca's you only need a couple feet if your hooking it up to the rear speakers because it is right in the trunk. hope this helps lol not many people in the a/v section :S

i was just thinking about it and came up with this question.. if the LOC is connected to the rear speakers, will the sub volume be affected by the fader option on my stock deck? cuz i have the stock system faded almost all the way to the front for obvious reasons..
