The pioneer you choose would depend on the amp you want to use.

One is a Dual 4 ohm config and one is a 2 ohm config.

Usually I would go with a single amp and get a d4 subs and then get an amp that goes down to 1 ohm.

I believe D2's are more flexible with 2 channel amps, but dont quote me on that...

I think you mean get an amp that goes down to 2 ohm (d4 configs to 2 ohm wired in ll or 8 in series)

If you get d2s, then you'll want the amp that goes to 1 ohm (d2 configs to 1 ohm ll or 4 ohm series)

Out of those you have listed, the pioneers are probably where its at. You might want to look around for some other options though. As always ( ) view Cam's list of "Whats good, whats not so good" which is up in the stickies somewhere.

if your amp is 2 ohm stable, get the 2 pioneer d4 subs. wire them in parellel to each channel giving each channel a load of 2 ohms. that way you get the max power out of your amp.

Don't buy any of that crap...How much exactly are you looking to spend on the subs and the amp?

Both of those amps are about the same quality. The Kenwood has more power so I'd probably keep that one. If you can easily sell both I would consider something better though.

I would buy this sub.

Since you are on a budget and your amp will be perfect for the ohm load and power I would just buy one.

Put it in a small sealed box, about .7 cu ft. Trust me on that sub...

Another nice sub with that power and ohm load is this sub.

Both of these subs compared to the ones you listed are like Lexus compared to a Daewoo.

Depends what amp you have. The subs are the same, it just gives you different wiring options.

Your amp is stable to 4 ohms when bridged so you will want to use a sub that will let your amp see a 4 ohm load. So use a single 4 ohm voice coil sub, or if you are looking at a dual voice coil sub you will use a DVC 2 ohm sub and wire it like this.

http://mobile.jlaudio.com/graphics/S...C_Series_1.gif

If you are going to use two subs, you would want to use two subs with the same ohm load.

Check out this guide to see the different options to show your amp a 4 ohm load.
