MP3 Player in 2003 Camry

Hello, newbie here,

just got a 2003 camry and i have yet to find an mp3 deck that looks nice on the center console. does anyone know if i can hook up some external device such as an ipod and do it that way? i was thiking something like leaving the ipod in the glove compartment or something. i know that i can resort to using the tape deck and adapter but is there a way to wire it properly? sorry if i am not making myself too clear but any alright reasonable suggestion would be greatly appreciated. thanks..

Go get this: http://www.logjamelectronics.com/pietoyaux.html

It will hook up the the aux connection in the back of your stock HU for the trunk mounted CD changer. It converts the connection to a right and left RCA. You can then get a male minijack to male right and left RCA cable, and hook your Ipod's headphone output to the new RCA inputs to the HU.
