hello,
i am new to the car world, i have heard that Compustar is the best alarm money can buy. so if any one knows any other good alarm i can get for $200-$250. or where i can find Compustar alarm for that price please tell me, except ebay.

DEI (www.directed.com) also makes good alarms (Viper, Hornet, Phyton, etc...)

im not familiar with compustar but i do know dei is on top of the alarm game now.

DEI did answer the CompuSTAR with the Viper Responder..

Is that the alarm that pages you when something happens?
If so that could either be a really good thing, or a really bad thing.
I heard a story about a pager alarm...I heard someone call it, Owner gets jacked 2 times and beat down alarm system.
If your alarm ever goes off, don't run when you get near your car. Try to sneak up on them, theifs ussally run in groups with lookouts.

Yes.

The remote also tells you which zone was triggered.

Its got all kinds of neat stuff, but its expensive. The shop my friend works at sells its for $529 installed.
