need help! interested in getting a portable gps!

I'm interested on getting a portable GPS but not sure which one to get. I heard a lot about TOMTOM ONE and Garmin(?) but I need some input on any experiences anyone have on these products. I just need regular GPS meaning no ipod or mp3 connector, IMO they just add up on price. Also anyone here have a traffic info in their gps? With traffic info is a plus.

Yeah, I'm kind of looking on tomtom too. Garmin costs a little bit more than tomtom. And, speaking of costs, how much extra cost is it by having a traffic feature on your gps? Does it cost a lot? How about when you upgrade your map, how much does it cost too?

go to www.tomtom.com and go to the support link. it will tell you all about everything you need to know about it.
