In my new 07 Dbl Cab with a factory 6 speaker system. Is there a crossover for the so called tweeters in the front doors? If there are, where are they located?

i dont think that there are crossovers, they are just connected throught the head unit im pretty sure. im guessing tho and im not familiar with ur vehicle

My 00 Camry had 6 speakers. There was no crossover. The tweeter in front and the woofer were connected in parallel but the tweeter had a capacitor attached that acted as a high pass filter. That was it.

I bet you are right about the capacitor. As much as I love Toyo, if they can do it cheaper they will. I am going to upgrade the bottom door speakers with some Infinity Reference. I am wondering if I bought some crossovers it would help at all with the performance of those tweets?
