What are the rear door speaker limitations...

I was wanting to put these in my rear door of 07 double cab.
Alpine SPS-17C2
Crutchfield says they will not fit...does anyone know the reason why...is there a depth issue ...or can I buy a different adapter that will allow it, they say this model will fit the front. Crutchfield has a very limited amount of speakers for the back door without going to components. I like these do to the fact that it seems that a lot of people like the low end on these. I will be replacing the fronts with components. I have chosen these Polk db6500

They will fit, just need a baffle to mount them. There's at least 3" of mounting depth back there.

I don't really rec. using back speakers, but that's a whole 'nother topic.

I'd rather use that money together with the money you spend on entry level front components and get something really nice like a set of Pioneer TS-C720PRS components for the front and don't run anything in the back.

I hate to ask you, but what I think a baffle is - is probably not what you are talking about. What do you mean by a baffle for installation. I am thinking of those rubber things that you buy to put behind your door speakers. Also too, what the ??? no speakers in the back...I am all ears. Now my budget is not endless but are you saying beef up the components in the front and just run a good sub? Even in a Dbl Cab?

Thanks for the time and I will limit my questions.

Man looking at those Pioneer's, is there enough room for those in the front? I see that they are priced around 250.00.
