Ok, now I have speaker problems...

SO, I got the head/amp working and good sound coming out of the stock speakers, so I started with swapping them out for some coaxials...

I am using alpine coaxial 6x9's for the front door, on the box it says "if you have a factory tweeter make sure it is dis-connected or a fault will occur"...so I mount the speakers and dis-connect the tweeter and guess what...no sound at all. If I plug in the tweeter I get sound (poor and distorted) The factory tweeter has 4 wires going to it 2 red and 2 black, I made some jumpers and jumpered it different ways if I jumpered the red's with the red's and the black with the black's it worked (poorly again) so I am at a loss as to what to do.

WHat have you guys that have installed coaxials done to remedy this??

Are you running the 6x9's off the amp, or the headunit?
