Radio Raspy on 1998 Avalon XLS

I just had some sub woofers installed at Circuit City and every since I got them installed the radio sounds somewhat raspy through 2 of the front speakers and before they were installed it never did this before the speakers sound excellent with a CD so I know they aren't blown and they are good speakers. What may be causing the unusual raspyness in the speakers?

Did they install an amplifier or a new headunit with it?

your getting some RF interference on the antenna, usually caused by bad grounding or insulation from power wires.

How were the wires routed? What brand speakers were they? By raspy you mean staticy? If so does it get louder as your RPM increases?
