Camry Audio Question

I have had my LE since September. The last month or so I have noticed i have to turn my radio up very loudly, especially on highways to get sound that can be heard. I need to have it from the low to mid 30's to low to mid 40's. This was never the case before. it is very quiet on siruis, am/fm and cd. If i play with the ASL setting it will get louder but then distort the aftermarket sub. Everythign is original factory except for the Infinity 10" self powered sub in the trunk.....anyone else have this happen?? Any ideas what is going on with my deck and or speakers? Any and all info is appreciated ...thank you!

Where does the infinity get its sound input from? If raising the asl works for the speakers, then go to the sub, and turn the gain or bass boost down, and eq to your liking from there.

if everything is original and you have an aftermarket sub then you are probably running lineout converters off the rear to get a signal for the sub. if thats the case then you are loosing alot of sound from the back and its now forcing you to turn it up louder to compensate. when you get it up loud enough to hear on the highway, the signal is clipping so the sub is distorting. to test this disconnect the sub and see if everything goes back to the way it was before the sub install.
