pioneer impp 10s ?

ok im planning on putting a set of pioneer impp 10s in the trunk of my celica...i can get a set of them already in a box for 130$...is that a good price

also they are 400 w each so what wattage of amp should i run ..
i have a 1000 watt legacy amp that i got that i can use

well, their power rating isn't too high so they won't be that loud but it'll be a good addition to your sound system regardless. If they're the silver IMPP subs they handle 250 watts RMS, and if they're the black ones, only 120. That's not much at all. I'm guessing your pyramid amp's power ratings are peak, but I'm not sure how many channels it is. But either way it probably puts out about 250w RMS @ 4 ohm total (my thinking is 500w@2 ohms, 1000w peak and for 4 ohms the peak would be around 500?). I guess we'd need to know if you're getting dual or single voice coil subs. It'd also be good to know more about your amp.

well the guy at work that has 2 impp 12s that are the silver ones that also are dual coil that he will sell for 100 that i will get
