When do I need to add a battery ?

when do i need to begin considering adding an optima yellow top battery to the system ? Yeah the simple answer is when my lights start dimming , I know :p

im just getting my parts together right now, but i think i need to consider this as well.

i just need to purchase an amp, so the setup will be two pioneer 12" 305c's (rated at 400 W RMS, 800 W max each), a pioneer premier HU (DEH-P740MP), and lets say a JBL 600.1 amp ....

will the current being drained out of the battery/alternator even be an issue in my case ?

Educate me !!

if you have dimming already, another battery is just one more thing to charge. if you have dimming replace your stock battery first and definitely upgrade the 3 magic wires. then if you still have a problem get a high output alternator.
