promblem no sound coming out of my subs, i checked the amp it has power and checked the head unit sound coming out of the rear speakers but not the woofers. checked the wiring and still nothing. can my audio in the amp going out? i tapped the 2 rca jacks the speakers pops when rca jacks touch. can any one help me
If the amp is getting power and rca signals, then make sure the power is getting to you sub. Recheck all the connections and test to see if it is getting the current
Im having the same problem with two sets... Im guessin the amp is blown... On my set i messed up and had the gain @ max (mixed up gain and this other nob)... And on my friends set i burrowed giving me the same problem (same exact one ur having)... But when i plug in the rca cable sometimes i get a little like "pop" from the subs (like a split second of sound)... Thats the only signs of life
When testing this stuff, i use a small radioshack amplified speaker. I hook this directly up to the RCAs to see if there truely is sound comming out of it. If your sure it's not the rca's then it's time to start swapping equipment. see if you can't hook the amp up to another set of subs (this is assuming that none of the fuses are gone on the amp and that all the gains are set properly). if this fails, time to swap the amp.

Really... Thats funny becasue my ground wire is hooked up to this screw end where my rear speakers is... im going to try moving it right now...
Edit: I hear a little bit of life in mine everyone now and then when i move around the ground wire... like a split second... Where is ur ground wire hooked up too?
A strong ground is allways a good thing to have in a system. To help create a better ground, you should snad off the paint arount the bolt you are connecting to expose the bare metal. also the use of a spider washer (the one with the little legs on it) is great to use because as you tourqe it down, it will dig in making an even stronger ground. Most often, I bolt the ground to the seatbelt block. This area is usualy within a few feet of the amps and is a strong connection point.
