Jvc Kd-nx5000

So I am having the JVC KD-NX5000 put in my car next week. I talked to the owner of a really good car audio shop about if I should go with the Eclipse AVN 5500 or the JVC. He liked the Eclipse, but loved the JVC. It was also cheaper at his store. I get it installed and everything out the door for $999.

Does anyone else have any experience with this head unit? I think it will be perfect for me. I especially love the 40gig hard drive to store music. If anyone has this unit, can ya post some pics of it??

As soon as I get it installed, I will post pics

i would go for the eclipse avn 5500 because is doulbe din and it almost looks like toyota themselves put it there. the jvc is irregular in size.. plus the eclipse is literally plug and play with our toyotas. the installation is super easier.. i think if you go to PB's cardomain page, he has a picture of hwo the eclipse would look. i knwo its a couple hundred bucks more but why not...you got a bigger screen...

yeah. the bigger screen is nice, but it doesnt have the hard drive. to get that in an eclipse, i need to spend about 700 more plus the install cost. they are running a deal at this store on the jvc unit. the price for it is 999 but they put it in for free.

i'm curious if anyone else has this unit. and how much did they get it put in for, and how they like it. thanks
